Given the additional people + chalice in the next page, the flow of event seems to be

Myne "I'll sell Pooey"
Sylvester "Well, I've got money to spare"

And he bought so much Pooey she start 'wishing' he'd stop already...and then said wish became blessing in her pooey (there are Gods for such things after all)
The page with chalice was likely after Sylvester noticed the blessing, call the others over and they used the chalice to verify she DID what she did.

Which to be fair, it did make him stop making her say pooey....so...wish granted.
