It looks like the manga does not happen on a real time basis, rather each arc is actually running on the same time as the previous arcs. For example, Runa was mentioned she dropped out of college, and the reason is layed out on the next arc. Those fees and losing the shop makes money very very tight.

and i can understand maybe wanting to share a drink or so but smoking seems a bit much (idk if she rly smoked before but the compilation/montage in an earlier chapter did show her smoking with a client)
tho kinda weird to bring food to a call girl versus it being part of the rental gf experience
and yeah Harupi was always an asshole but you'd think he'd be self aware enough to not fall asleep after hooking up with a client unless she drugged him with sleeping pills/alcohol or so lol
