Didn't it say in the first chapter that "no animal will attack a spirit"? Did t the author already forget about that, or is this dog some kind of demon? Also, how's she getting cold when she's literally a snow spirit? I find inconsistent writing pretty annoying

you are correct, mc thought "but come to think of it, there are no animals that attack spirits" on page 13

Maybe it gets addressed later, but I got a few possibilities

• Wild animals will attack humans when starving
• The dog just wanted to play but it looked mean xD
• MC is human inside making her be not be completely sensed as a spirit
• MC's father isn't a spirit
• MC only thought this to herself so maybe she was wrong in the first place
• The author forgot lol
