The plan was to get the hero children to kill their parents so it at least it’s consistent.

This manga is always on the verge of going somewhere interesting, rooting for this to do something new (for the genre).

I think we're both going to be disappointed, but I'm sticking it out for the same reason. I'll give it a few more chapters before deciding to drop.
