I don't understand why you guys think this is going to be axed somehow. Did they gave notice about how many chapters are left?

Although we need to praise the author for making Ayakashi Ko so fascinating. No complex story, mysteries or something. It's all about Mahoro and her Ayakashi friends. 42 chapters (up until now) of pure fluffness (and a bit of feels too), that never gets old.
