EXACTLY! Several days I would get, but months!!! The mangaka is writing this with no cohesive plan in mind and it shows.

Several months should be read as a few months, not many. Could be just three. That kind of time passes by way too quickly when busy with work, and it should be even quicker in a country where it's become the new culture to work unreported overtime just to make the company's 0work hour statistics look good.
