Maybe something is lost during translation but
This guy really need something more than this to beat gold digger allegory. This is like the gender reversal of

The Gals in My Class Treat Me Like Air
but not ecchi and atleast the gal in story above kinda like the mc and mention money stuff late into the story while in this, the money is his first and only priority. (I know it's for his relative but still...)

I feel bad for our girlfailure.

I don’t get how bro or the author still thinks there’s a prearranged marriage in the future. Didn’t his parents die and subsequently lost all the families money? One of the main drivers of prearranged marriages. He met his fiancé once, she doesn’t remember him, and her mother never mentions this to her.

MMC just comes across as a delusional douchebag. I want him to be rejected by her after learning the truth behind his motivations and the story turns into how he grows as a character. Instead of him (I’m assuming) basically getting everything he wants.
