They are the star-up/limit break material for the shipgirls, so their purpose is what Enterprise is saying not to do with them.

Worth to mention, they do take up slots in your dock and have all the functions of regular shipgirls including a few voicelines, but useless in combat. So yeah, a bit macabre if you think about it.

I like how the lower left hand corner tries to establish a happier future for the Bulins than what many Commanders assume.

Speaking personally, I have kept one of each of the Bulin classes that got the skins and maxed them out so I can say I have one of everyone

I've vacated reddit a while back so haven't been posting my comic there anymore. I post pretty much exclusively to X now, but the folks at Danbooru do a pretty good job of keeping the latest ones posted there.

I'd post the latest ones here, but I don't know how! Also that might also be considered bad taste for a creator to do that.
