The prince is now long dead, but Clarisse is doing better than ever. Who knows about that baron. Since he was Grezekaia nobility and apparently trying to push his daughter to the prince, it's possible he was also purged. The emperor of Saphus is a psycho, so it's easy to imagine he would have simply had all the nobles killed, to the last person. Though he could have also spared some for arbitrary reasons, especially those that betrayed their late king and country.
