For real. Got so much mileage out of my Discman riding my bike around in the late 90s.

A while ago some of the young kids at my job were discussing the origins of the term "stan." I explained to them that I had bought that album on CD, from a record store, at a mall, and listened to it on my Discman. These were all concepts that they had vaguely heard about once or twice.
