That would indeed be a prudent measure, given the slightly odd stuff being asked of her, but her just thinking "what the hell is this subject doing in a work contract, are you that worried about gold diggers...?" seems a normal-ish reaction.

In other news, I'm kinda weirded out that he didn't do a background check before inviting the lady to be the girl's de-facto adoptive mother.
