Especially since each couple flips back and forth between sweetness and drama...which is expected since this is a story with a plot.

The series does a good job of balancing things, meaning when one couple is going through something, the other is normally just coming out of something. Plus it's not like any of them deal with serious stuff. There's no major drama really.
