In a way it the way "Pegasus J. Crawford" is read feels weird. If were going by Western name convention then "Pegasus J. Crawford" as such with his first name being "Pegasus" and pretty much everyone referring him as such while for a bad guy being referred to his first name instead of his last name is kinda odd (except if you're counting "Elon"). If were going for traditional Eastern naming convention his name would be "J. Crawford Pegasus", then they could have gone with a name like "Johnathan Crawford Pegasus" which is a baller bad guy name now that I see it.... Still the name of "Maximillion J. Pegasus" just reminds me of what a diva he was during his entire appearance.

Putting aside the fact you casually said 6-7 months as if that’s a meager amount of time, obviously meant since Rahen started because nothing has happened this entire arc so far. Pickle fight was supposed to be something but it was more interested in making callbacks to the first fight than being a good fight

Jack has been acknowledged by Yujiro and ate with him, he beat pickle by demonstrating he now knows how to completely shut him down, and now he’s having his philosophies challenged by someone with essentially the exact opposite point of view. Old characters are making a resurgence, showing their growth while also showing the “gaps” Jack still has even though he’s grown as a person and fighter. Pickle is showing further growth as a fighter annd “human” by accepting when he’s beat annd not pushing things further. And we’re exploring the value of “aesthetics” for a fight. Plenty has happened in the less then 40 chapters so far.

Finally back to reading Baki Rahen! Took a... two month break or so! Hanayama either is lying or maybe his bout with Musashi and all the blood spilled there got to him. Odd and Funny either way. And Baki's calling this a holy war... I guess a Baki V Jack Part Two may be happening after all.
