Aside from the obvious reason of "so the FMLs have a reason to further seduce the MC"? Many tales equate succubi with vampires, who, when they're depicted as actual monsters and not just another fantasy race, often either kill their victim or make them thralls.

I personally think that everyone is wildly clueless that the reason he's so weak to charm is because all three of them regularly charm him to the point where they're actively making him more susceptible to charm while "trying" to do exposure therapy.


In essence, they have made him have a near-permanent weakness to charm now, and all it takes is someone smart enough to notice it, and strong enough to escape with him in tow and they've effectively screwed themselves.
