Howdy all, Kiwi here!

This is the end of volume 2! When I picked up the series I said I'd keep it going through the end of the volume and make the decision then. Actually, I made the decision a few chapters ago. I will be continuing this series after a break to catch up some on my other scan project Kimi wa, Nina Janai. I've already got the volume 3 raws (for cheap too!) so I'm committed to volume 3.

These chapters can be a bit of a pain to translate because a lot can get lost if you're not careful. I spent a lot of time figuring out what they meant by "the base" at the end of page 2 because that's a pretty direct translation, so I was stumpted. Turns out that's what they call the employee area, which is what I figured. I also spent a while trying to figure out who Kokoro was, because I'd never noticed her before.

On the subject of the chapter title, the most direct translation would be "Landmark" but I decided to leave it until after I'd fully translated the chapter before deciding on something. I settled on "Distinguishing mark" after working on the last few pages of Ruriko and Murata.

It might be a while before you see the start of volume 3, but I can assure you it won't be 2 years until the next update.

Thanks for reading, I'll see you guys next time!

I can relate to that feeling. Sometimes when you work at a place you have no idea what it's like to be an actual customer there.

Yeah, I'd fail that too. I don't recognise people outside contexts I expect to meet them. Her in a different outfit from normal would be enough. But the moment she starts speaking I'd recognise her.

So, she's complaining that he can't tell them apart without a distinguishing mark, but they're all wearing the same uniform. What she says makes no sense.

Her defence is so weak. The moment he notices something about her she's all firetruck face.

I will be continuing this series after a break [...] so I'm committed to volume 3.

Your work is very much appreciated! Thank you!

Girls' day off!

I love these "unfamiliar" situations like employees coming to their workplaces not as workers but as customers/guests.

I'm actually surprised at how casually Kokoro got introduced. She isn't in my notes of characters for this manga, and so I just assumed she's one of the beer vendor girls given her automatic, trained response to a spectator asking to buy beer from another vendor girl. Them including Sara in a selfie was very cute. They're really good friends as coworkers, huh.

Ruriko being upset at Murata failing to recognize her in her casual clothes is kinda understandable, that led her to think he only sees her as one of the many other vendor girls and nothing special, so it was up to him to prove that wasn't the case and he pointed out something that nobody usually notices. Cue the self-inflicted embarrassment on Ruriko when she realized he does notice something from her that nobody else does. That quality blush.

Man, I regret not reading this earlier. This was a fun chapter.

Yeah... I was like really confused by her at first. I ended up scraping through a number of chapters to try and find her, and she'd been quietly popping up throughout volume 2. This chapter was an interesting one for sure!

That quality blush hurt me greatly... I just did a halfassed job of covering it up lol!

Ignoring my hate for love angles, I dont mind Ruriko's perceivable reason for her high interest in Onii-san. She was new for the work and Onii-san was her test dummy and so she kinda just have a higher affinity with him because of that. Compared to fantasy cheap damsels in distress where they fell for the mc after a single favor or save but its not like that was the first time they were saved by a male. A dude saving a girl from someone trying to gain favor from her but the girl feel for the dude instead. Irony.
