I prefer Japanese manga over Korean manhwa on average but I will always root for this type of Korean villain in a Japanese manga. Japan really needs to up their self-awareness, the government is STILL denying war crimes committed against Korea lol, having korean "villains" is just tasteless.
Edit: before anyone calls me a hypocritical american, yes, I still want us to give reparations to black people and waaaaay more land/reparations to native americans, I decry all of our invasions in the middle east and acknowledge that we are responsible for cultivating most of the islamic terrorists that hate us to this day (though they are still ultimately terrorists, I don't root for terrorists, but this guy is not a terrorist, he is a fully economic villain and Korea deserves WAY more economic reparations from Japan, so I will root for him). America sucks too. And Japan doesn't suck "in general" in the modern day, but economy-based korean "villains" are still completely tasteless due to the history there.
