It's listed as finished as of July 2025 on Tencent's site, and readers were hoping it would blow up once the series was also available on Bilibili comics. It's been awhile but we haven't heard anything since unfortunately.

It being marked as completed doesn’t necessarily mean that there won’t be a second season. Green Tea Bitch was marked as completed on Bilibili for a few years after season 1 ended before coming back for its second season with a third on the way. The author of that even did a whole other series in between the first and second seasons
