the MC kinda seems like me if I were to start turning to crime, I'd do it, and eventually, I'll freeze my heart to it, but I would regret it. This comes to show that not all criminals are criminals for the sake of being criminals, more times then not, they're criminals because they were given a bad hand in life and they had to turn to it to survive, doesn't justify it, but also doesn't invalidate it.
