Scouts care less about a team's tournament results than you think. Talent is still king and it's why only Amatsu got picked high despite the team making Koshien in the previous year. The only player whose stocks that are going down right now is Kazu and nobody else.
DL is also a prestigious school so playing for them itself is a huge benefit since they attract a lot of eyes, plus since this is Summer Koshien qualification (the Osaka Finals too), scouts should already have enough data and locked in on who they want to draft.
Basically the kids can have a fun time in this game with no problems lol.
