I know Hinoki is being foreshadowed to be the ace later on and I know that Abiru has had way more character focus so far even as the rival character, but I'm starting to really like Abiru. He's a rough but likable guy with all his efforts and intents.

I really love how the 3rd years handled the runaway situation. They all understand that not everyone is built for it and it also takes a certain amount of courage to come back. Even Kanakawa encouraged Marui in a weird backhanded way.
