Usogui's gambles are long for gambling manga standard, and Batuque sure feels long compared to other martial arts manga. I for one doesn't mind this dragged style storytelling, but I want to know others opinion too.

@Petrichormus hm... I don’t mind either. The story has a decent pacing, better than some more mainstream mangas like Kimetsu no Yaiba, for example (which I still like very much). There’s a decent amount of development in each chapter, and the drawing at fights is really good.

Show me your Bimbas, lol!
Are these really in the originals? Bimba is sometimes used to refer to the male genitalia in Brazilian Portuguese, so the girl saying it at that moment is hilarious, even more so if it's in the original Japanese! :p

After seeing the hand-signal, which is equivalent of a middle finger I can imagine its in the original too.
@Petrichormus
I find the art a little challenging to follow sometimes, while on other pages its like the moves happening before me. Its definietly strange, but not bad.
And I prefer the slow pacing-more hyping style too. If you see how much happent "just" in 70 chapters it seems rushed but it didnt feels like.

The narrative flow in Batuque feels choppy. I noticed this too in Usogui. Specifically, I mean the longer the story goes. Early on, it feels fine.

I am completely fine with this pacing too. I remember having an hard time with the first 70 / 80 chapters of Usogui because the arcs were absurdly longs but I've become entierely absorbed after that. I think the awesomeness of Team Duwang helps a lot. Their release's pacing is perfect. It's an incredibly quick release but not everything is out at the same time, and there are breaks that allows us to take our breath back. I don't have the time to get bored and I read an few hundred chapters without realizing. I'm here since the appearance of Team Duwang and almost always up to date. I dropped it for more that two years before them without even missing the story. Now Usogui and Batuque are two of my favorites reads thanks to them

Keep up with the good work !

Poor gangson. There are some red pills here. When the beta male (gangson the nerd who thinks he is in a real relationship) runs out of money (rip 3 million), the girl (Icchi) will run off (gives the hand signal towards Jyungo which while we know is their capoeira club sign, also means sex) with the alpha chad (good looking, exciting, risk taker Jyungo). Don't take this too seriously though 😉

I thought he was a terrorist of weed smokers.

Ref speaks super fast, but everyone does in Sako Toshio mangas.
