Nothing really important happened,
In the previous chapter, MC managed to injure Jumeng's true form (because Jumeng underestimated MC).
In this chapter, the cowardly MC thought he could tie up Jumeng who was injured and still underestimated him, but it turned out he was in Jumeng's Illusion. Somehow, after a few seconds MC realized this illusion, then he pretended not to notice and made an excuse to Jumeng.
The original story was good, but there were a lot of monologues in the novel, so a lot was missed when it was made into a webtoon.
