I as a European, have no dog in this fight. It's a well drawn, original story. I like it. If I cared that much about politics, the whole kawaii scene was a way for Japan to avoid responsibility for war crimes during WWII, so then almost all manga & anime are out the window... Just my thoughts, not here to fight anyone!
