Now THIS! This story seems extremely promising.

I generally rather enjoy these kinds of historical fantasy stories with lots of political intrigue and romance.

Most often they involve a character who is operating with the knowledge of future events because they were isekaied into the world of a book/movie/game, they are reincarnated, or they went back in time. And I can enjoy those stories when they are written well.

But it’s extremely interesting to me when I come across a story like this that doesn’t have any isekai/reincarnation/time travel, and even more so when it also appears to be rather well written.

I’m going to be eagerly awaiting for new updates.

I've read up to 30 chapters, and for those wondering if this series is worth a read. It definitely is!

It's a nice and slow series. The pacing fits quite nicely, and the plot and characters are super interesting. This series feels unique in a way that it's similar to a book/novel. The "genre" being survival/romance stays relevant throughout the series as it's connected to both characters and the plot, and isn't just used as an introduction to the series.

The best part about this series I'd say, thus far, is the writing. Both the general writing but also the execution of the story and the interactions between the different characters. It all feels so natural and real, as if you're watching real life actors in a tv drama show, movie or something similar. Also am a HUGE FAN of the communication part of the series. It is soooo rare to see characters communicate with each other, without random "misunderstanding" tropes and what not. It's nice to see wise characters and not just simple ones on autopilot. This series is so refreshing!
