I know right!? Definitely one of Urasawa's Best Works.
Kevin Goodman the GOAT. Hope this gets an anime adaptation one day.

Me too Bro.
If Billy Bat does get an anime adaptation one day, the studio that should animate it needs to be 'MADHOUSE'.
'MADHOUSE' is the same studio that animated Monster (another manga by Naoki Urusawa).

Personally, while I love the Monster anime, I think it would be really cool to see it done live action. It would be amazing to see it shot on location, with German/Czech actors, speaking German and Czech, etc. I realize this would... Pretty much never happen lmfao but man it would be so cool to see. Urasawa seems very heavily influenced by film so to see a camera-shot version just makes sense.

I haven't seen the 20th Century Boys live action movies yet though. Maybe I should try those after I finish reading that eventually.

Similarly, I've also thought that Billy Bat would be interesting as a live action show. I think Billy Bat appearing in the show as a cartoon all Roger Rabbit style while everything else is super realistic would make for a really cool way to tell the story. The comic strip sections could still be presented as a cartoon/animatic style.
