LOL glad that at least that p39 thing made someone laugh. i actually workshopped how to do that panel in a voice chat with a fellow scanlator and ultimately gave up

Yeah, unless it's critical to the story somehow, I don't really begrudge the scanlator(s) taking a pass on that kind of thing. Worst case, put a page at the end that breaks out what's hiding back there, but in this instance (for a throwaway character) what you did works just fine.

Gag characters tend to trounce more serious series when it comes to fighting.
