this is something i've never understood about villains in not just bleach, but just about every mainstream Shonen. You mutilated a higher up of your group for no reason other than dramatic effect. For us, it's supposed to show how badass and villain-y the character is, but I can only imagine how STUPID he looks in-story to his underlings when he yaps like this.
"Right, give me your report."
"Yes sir! First off, we did this and that. Based on my experience, the consequences of those actions is-"
"Shush. Did I ask about the future? No! I want to hear about the now!"
"But sir! That makes no sense! Isn't it strategically irresponsi-"
gets disintegrated
