This manga really made me realize just how much the main character's perspective influences a supporting character's role. Since Aia is very honest, down to earth and eager to learn, his encounters with strong minded characters who'd make for rivals or enemies in a different type of narrative become instead a chance for him to learn from his superiors. It truly feels like great chemistry.
