I doubt he'll be a bad guy. She still seems to be dating him because he's convenient though. Even in this chapter, the big thing she said was it's nice dating him because there's no other girls to worry about. It doesn't feel like she's head over heels and her reason for saying "yes" to him was inline with her old ways. I don't imagine the series wants to promote those ways as good.

Meanwhile she still looks at Kyo in very interesting ways, even changing her mind about the drink this chapter because Kyo said it was lovely (and after shots of her clearly watching his reactions). I expect (and hope) she'll recognize where her real feelings are at, maybe after Kyo actually does something.

Agree ! Last frame of this chapter let us suppose that Hina is going to say something important.
Whether to not let Kyo make the same mistake with Taiki or to let him move forward whatever the cost, while responding to Taiki : “I don’t want you to suffer” … In any case we might get a solution pretty soon whether good or bad.

Meanwhile it’s soon the 4th January so we can expect something of Chii x Taiki very soon also

Me too, I really think it's high time we get on exploring the side-characters, Kyo and Ayame, and even Chono and how she's going to navigate the next step for her romantic life.
