Funny thing is the meme cat is fine too fit perfectly. The origin is a doujin where Shiki trying to sleep with a dream demon for real. She regularly provide him with erotic dreams but he suddenly want the real thing. The other girls object and then she transform into a cat. Then he said the line "cat is fine too".

Difference is mc here just want a emotion support animal then turn out be a dream demon but still get relieve some of the psychological problem so in this case " a dream demon is fine too "
