I just remembered the infamous story with the author of Made in Abyss, when the guys from Twitter tracked their reposts/likes on pixiv and started a campaign of persecution of the author and Western fans of the manga.

Hadn't heard of that one, but that sounds more like stalkerish redditors to be honest. They're probably the most mentally ill out there, and could probably do something like that.

I don’t know exactly where these people came from, but in the end they somehow discovered that the author liked some artist with quasi-realistic lolicon art and after that they began to claim that the author was a “proven pedophile” and that all guro content was in Made in Abyss should be perceived as torture porn. It's strange that they didn't touch the author of Blade of Immortal, who literally drew torture porn, although has always been a vocal critic of any violence against women.

The exact line in the MV clip sounds like what Bocchi is trying to do this chapter. Maybe coincidence, but quite poetic regardless.

For ref it says: “kimi no miru warui yume wa zenbu nantokashiatai ne.”
Which roughly translates to: “(I) want to do something about all the bad dream(s) you see.”

Bocchi going out of her comfort zone to help Ame is cute, that said, the whole drama thing feels a little weak and out of nowhere. Hell, we haven't even seen Ame's partner, the one that sings her songs.

That’s probably the point. Ame’s self-loathing and anxiety is possibly the worst of the characters we’ve seen, which is a very high bar. It only takes a tiny bit of validation to make that anxiety explode, and I’ve seen plenty of people on the internet lose themselves over a single negative comment.

Hitori Gotoh -> Masafumi Gotoh
Nijika Ijichi -> Kiyoshi Ijichi
Ryo Yamada -> Takahiro Yamada
Ikuyo Kita -> Kensuke Kita
They're mostly aligned instrument-wise, with Koyoshi playing drums like Nijika, Takashiro playing bass like Ryo, and both Masafumi and Kensuke being guitarists, the only difference being that Bocchi is the lead guitar, and Kita the rhythm guitar, while in AKG it's the opposite, Masafumi plays rhythm guitar and does main bocals, and Kensuke is the lead guitar.

Surprised you haven't heard of it, it's like one of the oldest trivia facts about BTR, and why the ending of the last anime episode was a cover of AKG's song.

I know you're joking, but a lot of the paid commenters/shillers around that aren't bots are usually indians. Or from south east asia I have a suspicion of. They're cheap labor and have decent access to the internet.
