Basically female student must use female uniform. If one breaks the rule and wears boy's uniform that risks the female students falling for them, it still counts as homosexuality, I guess.

I think the original point was that calling the teacher's enforcement of school uniform policy "homophobia" was incorrect.

The teacher's just enforcing the school's dress code. Nothing about his behavior screamed bigotry toward either of the MCs for reasons pertaining to sexual orientation.
But now the whole thread of that original comment has gone off the rails, so.

That may be true, but trousers being forbidden for female students (while skirts being forbidden for male students) has no justification beyond sexism, and sexism is closely related to homophobia. This rule is actually being challenged in some places in Japan.
