found this 10pm (NIGHT) searching for some random manga before I sleep...
then read it a little thinking that it will be boring and make me fall asleep..
But finding myself reading and finished it till 5:30am the sun almost rise...
for short - It was one hell of a good story man...

Thanks for hosting this, it'd been a long time since I had read all but the last two chapters. I hope everyone checks out the 'Boku Dake ga Inai Machi Re' side stories. mates beautifully with the ending...

More Airi is always good.

That said, I also really like how they fleshed out Kenya more in this spin off. I think it would've been neat to have a chapter on Hiromi as well, but he was never that major a character, so I can understand why they didn't.

If you're scared of the translation of the last chapters, don't worry it's still comprehensible. (I haven't really noticed)

Now, to the manga and God what a ride. This is just a masterpiece.

It can be hard to follow at times (at least for me). I wouldn't say it really warrants a Romance tag, so don't read it for the romance. The last 10-ish chapters develop much quicker than the first half. If you like mysteries, you'll like this!

I'm glad I read the manga after watching the anime. The ending was so much better in the manga, in the anime it felt more rushed and unsatisfactory. Also, the final confrontation in the anime was way too direct after the whole cat-and-mouse detective game playing through the entire story. Yashiro-sensei acted pretty out of character there too.
Besides that, they just skipped explanations like the aftermath and reasons of survival of the car crash in the frozen water. That was a bit akin to getting a kick in the nuts, saying "invent something yourself". Glad that got resolved in the manga.

All in all, a great story. Definitely worth the read.

Airi had a lot more significance in this manga than the anime, it actually made more sense for the anime to end the way it did if Airi had more screentime.

I love the manga and anime version of this. I read the manga in one night. I convinced a friend of mine--who hates anime--to binge the whole anime after watching only episode 1. Good times, great story. My friend was obsessed with Kenya (she said he was creepy and was convinced he was the culprit. Nah sis.) and it was just a good time. I do think the manga is better paced than the anime, though the anime is visually striking and uses images really well. But both are quite good.

It’s good from start to finish, honestly I binged this in one day and loved it ever since. You can feel the charisma in every characters, protagonist or else. Ending was bittersweet somewhat but it’s still a good end to a great manga.

I read the manga after watching the anime. While the art needs some time to get used to (eyes and such) but the story is a lot more elaborated like the suspects backstory and motives.
The anime didn't have enough time to show everything with merely 12 episodes. The manga is definitely worth reading for the details.
