Actually, we can't be sure if some of them didn't manage to survive (and they just simply didn't reincarnate because they lived on). Like Bishop Gale, he managed to escape, probably.
Also, yes, flashbacks can be confusing haha. And there aren't small info in which chapter it was said in original, it's just me (and my right hand Perley) who are searching for exact quotes and which chapter it was. It's my additional bonus for english readers. I kinda can remember all scenes.... but sometimes there are scenes that look like flashbacks, but are new. Ouf.
