Yeah, it's over, it really is. It's weird, but I really hope somebody takes care of Paisen's dog (and a cat apparently?).
There's no way it goes away now. Realistically, can there be any other option than everybody going to juvie and Paisen to prison? With some insanely good lawyer... nah, KIDS died. And it's Japan, with nearly all cases being lost and people declared guilty nearly every time.
Maybe the rest of the story IS about our bois trying to escape and somehow survive all alone, doing odd-jobs and living on the streets?
