I think they were pretty much like that new guy - "let's rought them up, threaten to kill them, undress and take pictures of them, but no killing". You know, like "we gangsters, but not really". Still terrible, not entirely unatonable.

The sad thing is, were it not for the bombing, Ichihashi would've kept being an absolute dickhead and maybe went on to become an actual gangster, instead of a hooligan. Now I really like him, I kinda like everybody aside from Maru (I like hot hate-able he is, I guess, that's good writing).

I honestly don't think Ichihashi would still try to get his revenge if he ever discovered the truth. But I'm very sceptical if he could just forgive Tobio. Even if Tobio confessed it on his own, which I highly doubt would happen...
