They don't mind showcasing lecherous and pervert MC's, but no sexual contact (as they consider sexual activities as something only villian/bad guys enjoy)

This is why outside of Hentai, you rarely see a normal series were MC partakes in sexual activities, even if the series is a Ecchi & Harem.

Japanese are not 'murican that want to have sex in everythings. Different culture, different way to see the world.

Mangaka never had any issue with sex, they dont need to show sex to say that it happened either. Most dont add any sex because they write Shonen, and Shonen are made to be sold to teenager.

Ahem. Pretty sure the Americans don't want to have sex in everything either. Heck, some of them are puritan as hell. I'd just say the Americans are more... Open to the idea. Whereas in Japanese society, there's a lot of peer pressure to conform to the norm. Your sexual fantasies are not something you can discuss too openly. Creates this climate of shame.
