Rui had an extraordinary burst of fanservice in the "last" 10-13 chapters, as he, by his own admission, wanted to give readers as much fanservice as possible before going on an indefinite hiatus. So many characters, including her, were somewhat “suffered.”

No need to invent anything, this manga has had the Yuri Baki label for a long time after the tournament arc. It's too general, but at least the best there is at the moment.

You're not the only one expecting something like a "Hollywood kung fu" arc in the future, but for now Rui says he no longer cares about the plot seriously (literally "I no longer care about the original idea of revenge against her parents' killers"), preferring to see it as a mix of softcore porn and martial arts. Still with some plot restrictions, but anyway. But I don't know if anything has changed or will change in the future after he returned to writing manga.

Ahead of us is some “temporary” conclusion after 12-13 chapters, which the author wrote while going on an indefinite break at that time, which will answer your questions atleast a little. As for the author, he has already said that he considers Misora to be bisexual with a lesbian bias or practically no longer cares about the original plot, so given how easily the plot of the manga changes in the most unexpected ways, anything can await us after his return.
