Lol, alien dan ninja. Also add the hashtag Sci-fi and Cyborg, because the ninja era of boruto is over!

Weirdly enjoying part 2 of Boruto more than I enjoyed part 2 of Naruto. Always felt like Naruto had a smattering of good moments amidst a sea of boringness until the 4th Great Ninja War. Take away that and part 2 of Naruto was kind of mid for me. This is giving me all the action I want while keeping me coming back each chapter to see what happens next. Just my personal experience added to the record of time here.

I do like how much of a badass Boruto is in this series. His first appearance is easily the one of most iconic moments of the Boruto series so far and his coolness factor after that never stopped increasing.

I feel like this is one of those things that people like just because of the past, while some may actually enjoy it. And there are good elements to the story. But I feel like if you need to do 10 level paragraphs that'd get you A's on an essay at school, to explain one minor detail. would be called bad writing, like why Sasuke and Sakura married, or how Sarada's Sharingan awakening and Mangekyo awakening is not bad, or rushed. is criteria for bad writing, or at least really really unclear writing.

How this piece of crap is 8.4 stars here is waaaaay beyond my understanding. I'd give it a 5 or 6 if it was an original series but a 4 for being a bad Naruto sequel. And I read this every month just to see how it goes

At the end of the day Boruto is a sequel show, not it's own thing (and it's not a good sequel show).

The new plot is way too focused on insanely powering up two kids, while destroying every other character and the verse in the process.

The original characters should still have meaning, weight and a place in the story!
The plot can focus on the new characters without destroying the original ones!
After all, there would be no Boruto manga/anime if it wasn't for Naruto's plot and characters.
