I'm honestly not sure how I would describe this manga to anyone else. It's just that odd. It's yuri, I guess. With a big dose of trauma, religious fanaticism, and abuse, apparently. But that still doesn't capture this manga enough. I'm have no idea if progress in this manga is for the better or for the worse, for example.

I would like to know more about Rie. Something is seriously wrong with her, and we don't know what it is yet. There has to be a reason why she's as fanatical about her religion, and also a reason why she is obsessed with Ef.

I do wonder how the author plans to turn this into yuri (and even then, I don't think it would quite be romance). I can't see it for now but the tags on the official raws site include "yuri" and also, "fetish", which is likely referring to Rie's religious fanaticism and obsession with Ef but maybe not literally a sexual fetish based on what we have seen so far? Fetishistic but not a literal fetish.
