Well, no. We already know the entire planet's ecosystem's been seriously fucked up by whatever happened in Tarou's time, and it doesn't look like things have gotten better give the dearth of food for THREE PEOPLE running around in a huge unpopulated area. Plus there's the cannibalism going on. These three sedentary villages must be straining the local resources very badly.
