I don't expect Akita to win the entire tournament but he should be able to beat some low level thugs by abusing the calf kick and maybe stand a chance against some semi-experienced fighters if he goes all-out/wild.

But anyone more experienced, oh yeah, Akita is leaving the arena in a stretcher.

To be fair, we’re over 10 chapters in and it feels like we’re still not addressing the fact that he only has one risky move, now has been essentially blocked off from getting any proper advice from anyone else, and is being rushed into a tournament arcs before he even managed to run it back with Mr. karate😂 So reasonably speaking, imo the best he can hope for is eventually getting beaten to a pulp. Really is a shame Fuwa probably won’t be a reoccurring character

That WAS what the original one shot of this story was before they changed it to a fight manga, she was an actual murderer in that one and was more in line with her "violence is all" ideology.

Hopefully in the future of the author will revisit that idea?
