Can we all agree his grandfather is a horrible person for lying about the Dang arranged marriage when they are known to use poison and torture people and didn't even think of the consequences it would hold.
I kind of think the grandfather didn't lie and it was the other grandpa who have seen the jade. But if were being honest, after seeing his grandfather, is this really something that couldn't have happened. His grandfather loves him deeply, but he really is an asshole lol. I don't think he thought something like this would happen.
