Yeah, at one point I got too busy to draw covers for this series.
I have plans to do so eventually. each chapter has been 22 pages or so I think. I made them all on a base template around american monthly comics.

I think in large part that's because it's not used in such a way that we're supposed to think deeply about it. It matters a lot for Bowsette (or at least did) because she was concerned what would happen if she ever took the Super Crown off, and that was a driver for her character; now that it isn't an issue, she's focusing instead on other aspects of her character and those push her forward instead. For everyone else, it was more just "So a funny thing happened today." At the same time, it isn't really played for comedic value either and actually helps to move the story along rather than getting in the way.

The only "complaint" I have is that I feel like there are some pages missing somewhere; like when Yoshi got to the Koopa Kingdom to get transformed, but I'm willing to bet that's strictly a personal problem and I just wasn't paying attention.
