The day Cleo realised she's not living in and serving a decent country but a dreadful tyranny. And the person she respects the most is one of the architects of that tyranny.
I wonder who's the real princess. The one in Krishna, or the one in Assam. Or maybe they both are. The simplest answer would be that the one in Krishna would be nothing but a spy sent by Zess to provoke Krishna into a war they have no business in, but who can say. Things often aren't what they look like.
At least Rygart learned a very valuable lesson: In a tyranny, saving a random person can land you in a prison, no questions asked. It seems like he hadn't quite understood the reality of life in Athens, despite knowing a butcher like Borcuse was the most respected general of Athens.
