Correction: the shittiest guy died.
So what if he had a little backstory; he didn’t do anything but be a violent and be an objectively terrible teammate (both in personality and in-combat reliability) until he up and sacrificed himself because he'd rather give up his life than actually atone for his actions. He was a bad person and didn’t even get a proper redemption story, so he will always stay a bad person.
I felt bad for him when he was a kid, but he loses any sympathy when he carries that messed up mindset as an adult. When he died and got that page spread, I felt nothing because he deserved nothing.
