This and Diamond no ace say different shit but I agree with diamond no ace much more. Of course that ace is important but I think the catcher needs to be competent as well, it's the synergy between the 2 that makes a great pitch.

Bungo should try explaining that to the catcher but idk let's just see where the story goes.

Honestly all odds are against Bungo and in shounen that's when a character grows so he maybe will become the ace but I'm kinda hoping he won't and see the reactions go on from there.

Ishihama knows team A batters more than the the catcher so he should also be able to decide if the pitch is a go or not. It's not just forcing it in every pitch. Hope they can show that.

The batters are know Bungo so well. They're really making him an underdog. Not only does he have to go against the regular players but NO ONE (except maybe that guy scouting them out who's name I can't remember at the moment) thinks he has a snowball's chance in hell of winning.

EDIT: Also...Eita is a pretty needy guy (that constantly needs validation from others), huh?
