because pure sport manga for some reason ain't that loved. Most popular sport manga has unrealistic (shounen-like) style with characters acting like they're in a combat manga or sth. Or those sport manga got popular thanks to yaoi-bait (Kuroko no Basuke is the prime example)

That being said this manga rocks!!! An entire chapter without a single dialogue and I still get what's happening, I even got chill!

Dude, what?
The art has degraded so much over the course of 200+ chapters it's not even funny.
Just go back to the first 20 chapters to see how gigantic the difference is.
It's like they replaced the initial artist after gaining an audience.
At least the story picked up steam after Bungo made it to the roster.
