So now we know what's her name is still alive. Though I don't get why Byakua can't remove the curse if other divine messengers can remove curses. Are divine messengers the same as Kami or different? could their mother be some sort of supernatural being? I was really hoping we would find out why his childhood friend cursed him.

Divine messengers are servants of gods but as you see like the nurse they can be quite difficult to deal with sometimes.

Sakuya is a complete yandere, and it's not that she cursed him but won't let the divine messengers excorcise the curse, she wants him to solely be dependent on her so she can have him all to herself

Sakuya is still alive somewhere in Byakuya's body and thats probably what their terms are for the contract.
