Can't guarantee anything, but I would like too. My current plan is, finish volume 1 of Akuma Koujou and then finish The Villainess Became a Commoner..there is only a couple chapters left of that one since someone translated a couple chapters for it after I quit. After that I'm not sure what I will do tbh. I've been thinking of going back and finishing Mahou Tsukai no Oshigoto..it's been two years and it's clear no one else is going to do it.

I do like the Camera manga though, it's just hard for me to translate because there is a lot of technical stuff in it since Shiro likes filling his manga will information. The issue is that unlike Yama no Susume with hiking and climbing, I have no experience with Cameras.

Oh I'll be doing Yama no Susume chapters in between all of this, but someone is actually doing the translation for me on those now so it takes half the time that it used to!

But ya, I went on a rant there, but yes I would like to keep going with this if I have the time. But with my experience and the fact that it's an ongoing series I would love to see someone else pick this up if possible because realistically there is no way I'm going to keep up with it and translate it 100% accurately, but I will put out a chapter now and then if no one wants to pick this up

Hmm.

So.

Here's the thing.

I have zero experience with manga translation. Can't read a lick of Japanese. I have far too many projects on my plate as it is for my own life. Frankly, I worry I'm overstepping any social bounds here. But...BUT...

I'm a deeply passionate nerd about cameras, and I've yearned for a manga like this for A While. So I'm just gonna say, straight up, if you want help on the camera stuff part of things specifically? I'd be willing to do my best at helping make sense of it.

Zero pressure, of course. I also understand "could I help consult on the tech stuff to help it make sense" is, like, half a step above "can I be your Ideas Guy" on the grand hierarchy of stupid bullshit jobs that don't exist. But...Offer's out there.

EDIT: Actually I'm gonna offer a bit more than that. I'd also be more than happy to do general script cleanup and editing. That's obviously gotta be a very collaborative process, wouldn't want to be taking the text away from what it's meant to be, but I feel like that's something I could offer that might actually sweeten the pot a bit; taking the rough dialogue and the bare technicals, and turning them into something other folks can enjoy, feels like a task worth doing if you'd be open to it.
